This lineup of frank and traditional Barolos tells a story, which is that of the great terroir of Serralunga d'Alba.

Palladino estate was founded in 1870 and is set in the village of Serralunga, a few steps from the castle that dominates the hamlet and the valley beneath it.

The historical cellars feature visible beams, vaulted bricks, and old big casks still in use.

Winemaking is traditional, thus maceration stretches even up to 30 days, and aging is very long in big cask.

The Barbera Superiore Bricco delle Olive gets to break the seal, doing just fine with its crunchy red fruit flavor and vibrant acidity.

The Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba is partially sourced from the Gabutti cru, as well as grapes purchased from other growers. Nebbiolo's personality comes together a beautiful drinkability. It is worth seeking out for 10-15 years, whereas being approachable even now.
