The 2014 Chablis 1er Cru L'Homme Mort has a simple greengage and nettle-scented bouquet with good definition but missing some intensity. The palate is fresh on the entry with moderate acidity, but overall it feels conservative, too mild-mannered for a Chablis and missing the tension that can make it special. Not a bad L'Homme Mort...but I would have hoped for a little more given the vintage.
